Question 1

Do you come out at night or on a weekend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ambrose Locksmith & Key runs around the clock, including weekends and public holidays. A lockout doesn't wait for the morning, and neither do we.

Question 2

Is commercial work something you do?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If it has a door and a lock, we come out: shops, offices, warehouses, rentals, and master key systems for any of them.

Question 3

How fast can someone get to me?

Accepted Answer

The dispatcher gives you a window and the technician calls before setting off. We give a genuine window on the phone based on your location and the traffic, rather than a number that only looks good online.

Question 4

My only key is lost. What now? What now?

Accepted Answer

Call and say exactly that. Either the lock is opened and rekeyed or the cylinder is changed with new keys cut on site; it depends on what's on the door. Either route ends with a key that turns.

Question 5

Do you open safes and filing cabinets?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. What matters is the make and how it locks; say both on the phone and the tech brings what it needs.

Question 6

Will you check the place is mine first?

Accepted Answer

Always. ID and a link to the property first, door second. A locksmith who opens without asking would open it for anyone.
